Our dog Oliver, was referred to this practice by our vets in Sheffield, for a mast cell tumour removal. The operational went well and everyone we came across was lovely. I didn't get the chance to highlight it at the time, but I just wanted to give a special shout out to the reception team (especially Johnathan), who handled the referral and our insurance claim quickly and efficiently, demonstrated some great problem solving skills, and explained exactly what we should expect on the day of the operation over the phone. You made the entire thing much easier for us and put our minds at ease during a stressful time.

Took my nana cat in gizmo. The lady vet. I cant remember her name. She was so lovely. Gizmo is a resuse cat and so nervous around people but she was brill with him and put my nana mind at rest. Animals are like your kids so understandly my nana was very worried about him

I want to thank the doctors and the team at White Cross Vets Balby for the incredible care they provided to my guinea pig, Dale. From the moment we first came in, they treated him with such gentleness and compassion. Even when he became very sick, they did everything they could to make him comfortable and keep me informed every step of the way. Sadly, Dale has passed away, but I’ll always be grateful for the kindness and dedication shown by everyone at the clinic. It meant so much to know he was in such caring hands. I highly recommend White Cross Vets to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares about both pets and their people.

What was perceived as a straightforward process, became an extremely nerve-wracking ordeal for both me and my Pet Chihuahua Oscar! The White Cross vets' staff provided inaccurate and unprofessional advice. I would caution against entrusting your pets to their care. I am currently in the process of lodging a formal complaint and will pursue this matter to the fullest extent. My aim is not to seek a refund, but to prevent others from undergoing a similar distressing experience with their pets. The staff displayed a complete lack of empathy and, to be blunt, their manner of communication, which felt like they were ganging up on me, was utterly disgraceful! The woman in charge in the absence of management for another week used inappropriate language such as knocking them out instead of using more professional terms like administering local anesthesia. During a procedure where my Chihuahua was under local anesthesia for two hours for a scale, polish, and extractions, exceeding the expected 90-minute timeline, the necessary extractions were not completed. Despite the urgency stressed by the vet over the phone regarding the critical need to remove these teeth, I was informed that I would have to bring Oscar in for another session. The vet intended to charge me another full amount. When I picked Oscar up, but the nurse advised me if this was her pet, she would not put him under local anaesthetic again as his heart rate and blood pressure dropped dramatically. The Vet himself did not advise me this and I am so glad that Young lady Truthful.

Excellent service and value for money. My dog is a large dog who will get aggressive with any dog that comes close. The vet handled my needs professionally and effectively. The visit was no stress on me or my dog Loki. Much better than any other vet I have used for price and service...by a massive margin as well.

Excellent service. We had our guinea pig seen and treated by Elisabeth recently. She was very knowledgeable and provided appropriate treatment that our pet is now much better and back to his usual self. We’d definitely recommend this vet.
